He is graduate in Agronomic Engineering from Federal University of Lavras (1987), master's at Agrobiochemistry / Biotechnology from Federal University of Voçosa (1993) and ph.d. at Biologie Integrative from Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Agronomie de Montpellier (2004). Has experience in Agronomy, acting on the following subjects: rapd, muse, citrus, molecular markers and papaya.
