Biography
He received a Master's degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Pelotas (1994) and Doctor of Agronomy (Crop Science) at the Federal University of Lavras (1999). He is currently researcher at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), National Center for Grape and Wine Research (Bento Gonçalves, RS), where he was also Chief of the General Unit (2004-2008) and, since 2011, he is Transfer Technology Manager on this unit.
