He is holding a graduate degree in Agronomy from Federal University of Pelotas (1991), master's degree in Science and Technology of the Food from the Federal University of Pelotas (1994) and ph.d. at Qualité et Sécurité des Aliments from Ecole Nationale Superieure Agronomique de Toulouse (2006). Has experience in Science and Technology of the Food, focusing on After Harvest Physiology, acting on the following subjects: quality, apple, nutraceutical value, standardization and classification.
