Biography
He is bachelor's in Biological Sciences at Universidade Santa Úrsula (1994) and master's in Aquaculture at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1999). Has experience in Fishery Resources and Fisheries Engineering, focusing shellfish, acting on the following subjects: reproduction, husbandry, shrimp culture and production. Became a Embrapa researcher in aquaculture acting in biology and reproduction in 2001 and worked at the Ministry of Aquaculture of Fisheries in Brazil as R&D manager from 2003 and 2013. From 2013, returned to Embrapa as R&D head at Embrapa Fisheries and Aquaculture.
