He is holding bachelor's degree at Agronomy from Federal University of Uberlândia (1998), master's degree at Agronomy from Federal University of Uberlândia (2002) and doctorate in Phytopathology from Federal University of Lavras (2007). Has experience in Agronomy, acting on the following subjects: gnath-nematode, meloidogyne, daucus carota, meloidogyne javanica and meloidogyne incognita race 1.
