Biography
He has his Master inAgricultural Microbiology, Federal University of Viçosa (1997) and PhD in Agronomy (Soil Science) from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), where he held the post-doctorate in Plant Production. It is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, Embrapa Solos unit. Has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Soil Fertility and Fertilization and Experimental techniques in agronomy, acting on the following topics: Soil Fertility Management, Agronomic efficiency of nutrients in agriculture, soil analysis methods and plants, technologies for the development of new fertilizers. Currently holds the position of Head of Research and Innovation at Embrapa Soils.
