Biography

He received Graduation degree  in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (1976), Master's degree in Plant Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1989) and Ph.D. in Soil Science from the State University of Londrina (2009). Researcher in Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation since 1985, working with Transfer of Technology (TT) in Embrapa Soybean until June of 2009, when participated in the establishment and development of validation and TT activities, focus on soybean production systems. Coordinates activities related to Continuing Training of technical advisers on "Transfer of Technology in Integrated Systems (Crop-Livestock-Forestry)" project, developed in Brazil. Advocates and practices the TT as a systemic and continuous activity aiming the effective training of technical advisors who will provide technical assistance to agricultural producers. Since July / 2009 is the Head of Transfer of Technology in the Embrapa Agrosilvipastoral, recently created unit of Embrapa in Mato Grosso (MT), where has the mission of coordinating a great process of articulation and integration with some institutions linked with agroforestry sector in State . The objective is to develop projects focus on Continuing Training of technical advisers that working in MT, aiming the improving of the validation and transfer of technologies developed by Embrapa Units and others researches institutions. Consequently, enabling greater agility and effectiveness of the technical recommendations coming from the research to farmers in Mato Grosso.
