Biography
Liv Soares Severino has degrees of BS in Agronomy (Federal university of Ceará - 1997), MS in Plant Sciences (Federal University of Viçosa), and PhD in Plant and Soil Science (Texas Tech University, 2012). He works as scientific researcher in the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company (Embrapa) since 2002. His major studies are on agronomy and Crop Physiology of castor (Ricinus communis). He has coordinated several research projects in partnership with private and government owned companies. He also works on International Technical Cooperation. His scientific production includes around 60 peer reviewed papers, and also books, technical publications, and abstracts. Presently, he is Chief of Research and Development in Embrapa Cotton.
