She is holding a degree of Chemical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1980), MSc in Chemical Engineering from Rio de Janeiro Federal University (1988) and DSc in Chemical Engineering from Rio de Janeiro Federal University (1994). She has experience in Food Science and Technology focusing on Vegetable Technology and Animal Products, acting on the following subjects: microfiltration, pervaporation, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and by-products and aroma recovery.
