He is holding a bachelor's degree at Agronomy from Federal University of Paraíba (1989), master's degree at Agronomy from Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1998) and doctorate at Agronomy from Federal University of Viçosa (2002). Has experience in Agronomy, focusing on Handling and Conservation of the Soil, acting on the following subjects: soil organic matter, no-tillage, soil quality, carbon sequestration and soil fertility.
