He is Undergraduate in Agronomy from Federal University of Viçosa (1984), Master's at Zoology from National Institute of Amazonian Research (1993) and Ph.D. in Agriculture (Soil Ecotoxicology) at Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn - Germany (2004). Has experience in Agronomy, focusing on Agricultural Entomology, acting on the following subjects: pest management and soil ecotoxicology.
