Biography
Patricia Drumond holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1990), a Masters and PhD in Sciences (area of concentration: Entomology) from the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto Campus (1993 and 1997), Postdoctoral Degree from the University of Sydney, Australia (1998 and 1999) and from USP, São Paulo Campus (2000). Since July 2002, she has been a Researcher at Embrapa Acre. Between 2003 and 2008, she coordinated inventories of mammals in areas under timber and non-timber forest management in the State of Acre. From 2008, it began to work in the areas of bee breeding, management and conservation. In August 2013, she assumed the position of Deputy Chief of Embrapa Acre Technology Transfer. She also acts as the International Cooperation Unit's Coordinator.
