He is General-Director of Embrapa Dairy Cattle (2004 to 2008), economist graduated by the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1983), holds a Master in Applied Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa (1987) and Doctorate in Applied Economics from USP/Esalq, University of São Paulo ? Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (2003). Researcher at Embrapa Dairy Cattle, where develops studies related to Market Intelligence and competitiveness in the dairy production chain since 1997. Co-creator and coordinator of SimLeite ? Milk and Derivatives Market Monitoring System (2004). Idealizer and articulator of CBLeite, a partnership that gathers the main dairy companies in the Brazilian market, in an institutional setup resulting from a Public-Private Partnership (2007). Articulator in the creation of CILeite ? Milk Intelligence Center (2007). Co-creator of the Brazil Milk Cooperativism Census (2003) and responsible for the construction of Scenarios for the dairy sector in 2020 (2006). Member of the Strategic Planning Comission of Embrapa (2004 to 2008) and Embrapa Dairy Cattle (1998, 2005, 2008).
