Biography

Agronomist with Master's and Doctorate in Agronomy, Researcher at Embrapa. He began his professional activities as a Rural Extensionist at Emater Acre, where he held the position of Technical Director. At Embrapa he was General Manager of Embrapa Acre, Chief of Administration and General of Embrapa Irrigated Agriculture (Piauí), Head of Communications and Business and General Manager of Embrapa Agroindústria Tropical (Ceará). He has training at Fundação Dom Cabral in the Manager Development Program and in the Advanced Management Program of Amana-Key. Since April 2013, he has held the position of Chief of the Embrapa Business Department. Researcher at Embrapa since 1979, he published 24 articles in specialized journals and 70 papers in annals of events. He is the author of 25 book chapters and 4 books published. He directed works of scientific initiation and completion of undergraduate courses and co-oriented master's thesis works in the areas of agronomy and agricultural engineering. Participated in 35 thesis defense / masters theses. He has been involved in several technical cooperation missions in Brazil and abroad. Member of the Fiscal Council of the Brazilian Association of Technological Research and Innovation Institutions (ABIPTI). At Embrapa, he is currently a member of the Strategy Steering Committee, the Programming Management Committee, the Information Security Steering Committee, and the Information Technology Steering Committee. He has been involved in several technical cooperation missions in Brazil and abroad. Member of the Fiscal Council of the Brazilian Association of Technological Research and Innovation Institutions (ABIPTI). At Embrapa, he is currently a member of the Strategy Steering Committee, the Programming Management Committee, the Information Security Steering Committee, and the Information Technology Steering Committee. He has been involved in several technical cooperation missions in Brazil and abroad. Member of the Fiscal Council of the Brazilian Association of Technological Research and Innovation Institutions (ABIPTI). At Embrapa, he is currently a member of the Strategy Steering Committee, the Programming Management Committee, the Information Security Steering Committee, and the Information Technology Steering Committee.
