Biography

With over 24 years’ experience in Engineering and Maintenance as well as Business Management with a Bachelor in Engineering – Mechanical, Mark is the Founder and Managing Director of Engineering and Maintenance Solutions.  Starting off as Total Engineering and Management in 1995, the business focus was provision of Project Management Services and implementing projects in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. The company provided a full gambit of services from concept design to construction, installation and commissioning, delivering projects ranging from a few thousand dollars to over $2m. With the inclusion of plant relocations, green and brown field projects, our client base loyalty grew to demand a larger team and maintenance focus which lead to the inception of EMS. The company now also manages projects in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Mark understands that delivering “real value” to the customer is essential to longevity and so is receiving it. In engineering knowing how to make something for a good price is one thing, but understanding what is most relevant and critical to your customer is the most important. Marks wealth of experience, knowledge and skills are what has taken this company to where it is today. His interest lies in identifying innovative solutions for traditional problems.  Known for his “quick thinking” and ability to identify highly effective preventative maintenance strategies and engineering solutions, he has been a sought after consultant in key industries across Victoria for well over a decade. These industries include Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Timber, Food, Pharmaceutical and Environmental.
