Biography

Mr. Luiz Otavio Assis Henriques serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Empresa de Energia Cachoeira Caldeirão S.A. Mr. Henriques serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Investor Relations of Investco S.A. He has been Vice President of Generation & Trading at EDP - Energias do Brasil S.A. since May 7, 2008 and serves as its Member of Management Board. He serves as Technical Manager of the Itapeva regional, Electric Systems Planning. He serves as an Operations Manager and Commercial Manager of the Atibaia regional, Planning and Control Manager of the East Department and Atibaia Regional Manager. He served as an Executive Vice President of Generation and Director Vice President of Generation & Distribution at EDP - Energias do Brasil S.A. and served as its Vice President of Generation since May 7, 2008. After the creation of Elektro, in 1998, undertook the position of New Businesses Manager of EDP. He served as Director Vice President of Generation and Trading and Member of the Executive Board of EDP - Energias do Brasil S.A. He started career at Companhia Energética de São Paulo (Cesp), which he joined in 1981. From 1999 to 2002, he served as Trading and Risk Director of Enron, in São Paulo. Back to Elektro, he was Energy Supply and Large Customers Manager until August 2005, when he became Commercial and Energy Supply Director of the Distributor and Director of the Trading. He serves as a Director of Espirito Santo Centrais Electricas S.A., Empresa de Energia Cachoeira Caldeirão S.A. and Bandeirante Energia, S.A. He is Electrical Engineer graduated at Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas), in 1980, with Post-Graduation in Energetic Planning and British Privatization Model from De Monfort University of Leicester, England.
