Biography

Mr. R. K. Gupta, CMD WAPCOS serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of WAPCOS Limited. Mr. Gupta has over 28 years experience in securing and implementing consultancy projects in the fields of Irrigation, Water Resources, Power & Infrastructure sectors in India and Abroad. He has been with WAPCOS for the last 19 years and has held top Management positions. In his different capacities in WAPCOS, he has been actively involved in Strategic Planning, Marketing, Business Development, Brand Building, Human Resources Management, Financial Management and Project Implementation, within India and Abroad. Mr. Gupta has created an enabling environment to remain a step ahead of competitors by venturing into New Markets, Technology and Diversified Fields, Range of services in order to spearhead the WAPCOS to the newer height. He has contributed a number of technical papers published in National and International Journals in India and Abroad. He is a member of leading professional Institutes. Mr. Gupta is a Civil Engineer. He is a scholar alumni of the prestigious Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra (First position in the University). Mr. Gupta completed Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Structures, Civil) from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Master in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources Management. He has specialized Technical and Managerial training in India and Abroad.
