Biography
He graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ceará (1987), obtained a Masters in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Federal University of Paraíba (1991), PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology) by the National Museum - Rio de Janeiro / UFRJ 2002) and two postdoctoral studies in Portugal, at CIBIO-University of Porto (2011-2012, 2016-2017). He joined the Federal University of Ceará in 1992, and is currently Prof. Associate IV. She is a coordinator of the UFO Regional Nucleus of Ophiology (NUROF-UFC) and is a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources (PPGERN) (master's and doctoral degree) and in the Professional Master's Degree in Science and Mathematics Teaching (ENCIMA). UFC. She develops research in the field of Herpetology, with emphasis on Systematics, Biogeography and Ecology, acting mainly in the relict areas of Atlantic forest in the northeast (Brejos-de-altitude), in the semi-arid environment of the Caatingas and Costeiro. It also develops extension projects with Environmental Education and Scientific Divulgação, mainly related to Herpetology. He coordinates PVE and Universal projects, both funded by CNPq, is part of ICMBio 's GAT - RAN, and is a Productivity Grant CNPq.
Research Interest
She develops research in the field of Herpetology, with emphasis on Systematics, Biogeography and Ecology, acting mainly in the relict areas of Atlantic forest in the northeast (Brejos-de-altitude), in the semi-arid environment of the Caatingas and Costeiro.
