Biography
Graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Antioquia - Colombia, Masters in Freshwater Biology and Inner Fishing by the National Research Institute of the Amazon and PhD in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Experience in limnology, fish ecology and fishing in the Amazonian floodplain, coastal lagoons and aquatic ecosystems of the Brazilian semi-arid region. Currently Associate Professor of the Department of Biology of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), registered as an advisor and researcher in the Graduate Program in Tropical Marine Sciences of the UFC, developing studies on ecology of aquatic organisms in lentic and lotic ecosystems of the semi-arid and coastal region of Northeast Brazil.
Research Interest
Community Ecology, Fish ecology, Limnologia and Fishery biology.
