Biography

Professor with exclusive dedication at the Federal University of Ceará, Pici campus, Fortaleza, Brazil. Ministers disciplines of Anatomy, Morphology and Plant Systematics as well as Phytogeography. Linked to the Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources. Graduated in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Botany (2005), Masters (2011), PhD (2015) and Post = PhD (2016) by the Federal University of Viçosa. I have experience in Botany, with emphasis on Plant Anatomy. Plants are biological systems that are constantly negotiating with environmental factors. These factors have a modeling action on the plant organism. In this way, I try to understand and correlate the anatomical adaptations of plant species to the environments where they occur, as well as to correlate such adaptations to different environmental factors (light, water, soil, temperature, etc.), which commonly act as stressors. I also seek to find anatomical plant characteristics that do not vary according to the environment, so as to make use of these characteristics in taxonomic studies, thus using anatomy as a tool applied to taxonomy and phylogeny of groups and / or plant species. I also have particular interest in secretory structures and histochemistry of the secretion, that is, of the respective metabolites produced by the different types of secretory structures. Our work seeks to establish ecological, even hypothetical, relationships with the animals that visit such structures, aiming to assist and point future studies in ecology. which commonly act as stressors.
