Biography
She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1994) and a PhD in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2001). He was professor of the higher teaching group of the Federal University of Paraná and currently in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in Parasitology, with emphasis on Human Parasite Protozoology, working in molecular techniques for the study of free-living amoebas of the genus Acanthamoeba, Entamoeba histolytica / E. dispar, Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
