Biography
He holds a Ph.D. degree in Pharmacy, a degree in Clinical Analysis from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1976), a Master's degree in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1983), a PhD in Hematology from the University of Southampton (1995) and a Ph.D. Department of Biochemistry, University of Maastricht, The Netherlands (2012-2013). She is currently a Professor of the Department of Clinical and Toxicological Analysis of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Has experience in Clinical Analyzes, with emphasis in Hematology working mainly in the following area of ​​hemostasis, focusing on hypercoagulability and thrombophilic states (hereditary and acquired), as well as atherosclerotic or non-atherosclerotic diseases associated with hypercoagulability. She is a full professor of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as the Postgraduate Program in Clinical and Toxicological Analysis, masters and PhD levels. He is also a 1A fellow at CNPq.
