Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemical Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995), a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998) and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2008). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He works in the Pharmacy area with emphasis in the following subjects: Experimental models of diabetes and mucositis, 99mTc-Escherichia coli, inflammation / infection, radiolabeled antibiotics and bacterial translocation. Experience in the area of ​​Radiopharmacy, working mainly in production, quality control and development of new radiopharmaceuticals. Accredited as a supervisor in the Graduate Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical and Toxicological Analysis of the Faculty of Pharmacy of UFMG.
