Lidiane Da Silva Araújo

Biography

Lidiane da Silva Araújo is about to finish her PhD in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. She received a Master degree in Physics from the same university. She has published many papers in Microwave Engineering (fractal antennas, filters, triplexers, micromachined devices) and in Statistical Physics (Monte Carlo Method, Ising Model, critical dynamics, magnetic thin films). Currently she involved with coupling matrix theory, which is the subject of her PhD thesis, in the design of microwave devices. The work includes 3D Printing Technology which is in collaboration with the University of Birmingham, UK.
