Biography

He holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1975), a Master's Degree in Food Science from the State University of Campinas (1979) and a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1992). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Food Quality, Chemistry, Physics, Physical-Chemistry and Biochemistry of Food and Food Raw Materials, working mainly on the following topics: quality of methods for analysis of residues and Contaminants in food, good manufacturing practices and microbiological quality of food, design of experiments and statistical analysis of data
