Biography
I am Prof. Sergio Machado and I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I obtained my bachelor degree in Physical Education in 2005, and I am undergraduating in Psychology and I started my scientific career in the same year at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil. I obtained my M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Mental Health from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2008 and 2012 respectively, studying Brain Mapping and Sensorimotor Integration. I obtained my post-doc in Neurophylosophy at Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and in Translational Medicine in National Institute for Science and Technology (Brazil). I am presently working as Professor at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) - Laboratory of Panic and Respiration (LABPR), and as coordinator of Physical Activity and Neuroscience Lab at Salgado de Oliveira University (UNIVERSO).
