Biography
Cícero Naves of Ávila Neto holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UFU (2007), with complementary training at Génie des Procédés by the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Rouen (France), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from UFU (2009) in Chemical Engineering, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) (2012). He is Adjunct Professor III of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and adviser of the Post-Graduation Program in Chemical Engineering of UFU. He has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Chemical Reactors and Fertilizers, working mainly in the following subjects: heterogeneous catalysis, mineral solubilization, chemical thermodynamics and X-ray absorption spectroscopy. He is a manager of the Center for Research and Innovation in Fertilizers and Food (CPIFert) of UFU. It has an ongoing project funded by CNPq (Universal Call - MCTI / CNPq No. 14/2013) on the topic of heterogeneous catalysis and is a reviewer of several periodicals indexed by CAPES. He published 10 articles in specialized journals, 11 complete articles in annals of the event with a body of reviewers and guided 6 students in scientific initiation.
Research Interest
Heterogeneous catalysis, mineral solubilization, chemical thermodynamics and X-ray absorption hspectroscopy.
