Biography
Cesar Augusto Garcia holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia (1981), a Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine (Hig.Veter.Proc.Tecn.Prod.Or.Animal) from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (1987) and a PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Experimental Epidemiology Applied to Zoonoses) by the University of São Paulo (1992). Director of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of UFU from 2009 to 2011. He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia in the Discipline of Viral Diseases. Enabled by the Ministry of Agriculture for the National Program for the Control and Eradication of Brucellosis and Tuberculosis (Ordinance No. 0356 of 12/19/2005) and Technical Responsible for the Laboratory of Equine Infectious Anemia (Official Diagnostic Office No. 023/2003). area of ​​Collective Health, with emphasis on Epidemiology. He is one of the pioneers in veterinary ozonology in the country and leader of the Research Group Ozone in Veterinary Medicine, conducting research that uses ozone in the various areas of Veterinary Medicine.
