Biography
Eloizio Julio Ribeiro holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1976), a specialization in chemistry from the Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1978), a Master's degree in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1983) and a PhD in Food Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1989). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis in Biochemical Processes, acting mainly on the following subjects: beta-galactosidase synthesis, enzymatic hydrolysis of lactose, enzymatic kinetics, immobilization of enzymes, sucrose hydrolysis, microbial renin synthesis, lactic fermentation and alcoholic fermentation.
