Biography
Erika Ohta Watanabe holds a bachelor's degree (2001), a master's degree (2004) and a doctorate (2007) in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas. He completed post-doctoral training (2008-2009) at the State University of Campinas. She is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in the area of phase equilibrium of solutions containing proteins and in bioprocess engineering with emphasis on processes of recovery and purification of bioproducts ("downstream processing"). Currently, it also works with the production of biodiesel under supercritical conditions and with the extraction under supercritical conditions.
