Biography
Zootechnist with Masters and Doctorate developed in the Group of Animal Genetic Improvement and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Animal Science and Food Engineering of the University of São Paulo. Since 2002, he has worked in the area of ​​Animal Genetic Improvement, with experience in database management, genetic evaluation and incorporation of genomic data into animal breeding programs, estimation of genetic parameters, study of population structure, evaluation of the effects of inbreeding and programming in R and Fortran. She was a professor at the Institute of Genetics and Biochemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia in Patos de Minas between 2012 and 2015 and since then is a professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia.
Research Interest
Database management, genetic evaluation and incorporation of genomic data into animal breeding programs, estimation of genetic parameters, study of population structure, evaluation of the effects of inbreeding and programming in R and Fortran.
