Biography
holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Fluminense Federal University (1980), a Master's degree in Animal Science (Animal Physiology) from the Federal University of Viçosa (1986) and a PhD in Human Physiology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1995). He is currently Associate Professor at the Biomedical Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Uberlândia. He was Coordinator and Head of the Area of ​​Physiological Sciences, Director of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - ICBIM - UFU. He was Executive Director of the Agricultural Development Foundation from 2001 to 2006 and Pro-Rector of Planning and Administration of UFU from 2004 to 2008. He is currently Pro-Tempore Coordinator of the Area of ​​physiological Sciences of ICBIM where he also was co-ordinator in the period from 04/2009 to 03/2011.
