Biography
Julio Mendes holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1988), a Master's degree in Parasitology from the State University of Campinas (1991) and a PhD in Parasitology from the State University of Campinas (1996). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology, with emphasis in Medical and Veterinary Entomology, working mainly in the following subjects: Biology epidemiology and control of insects of medical and veterinary importance.
