Biography

Kênia de Fátima Carrijo Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2006), Mestra (2008) and PhD (2012) in Veterinary Medicine with an area of ​​concentration in Veterinary Hygiene and Technological Processing of Animal Products, by the Fluminense Federal University, Meat and by-products and hygienic-sanitary inspection of meat and dairy products (cattle, pigs, equines, sheep and goats) by CBMVHA and specialist in meat quality, milk and eggs by the Federal University of Lavras. She is currently Assistant Professor Level III of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Uberlândia, responsible for the discipline of Meat Technology, eggs, honey, fish and derivatives for the Veterinary Medicine course, besides teaching classes for undergraduate courses in Animal Science and Nutrition. He has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Inspection and Technology of Animal Products and Food Quality Control, working mainly on the following topics: Epidemiology of foodborne zoonoses, Swine Enzootic Pneumonia, slaughter animal diseases, Well -Estar Animal, Food Safety, microbiological, physical-chemical and sensory evaluation of food.
