Biography
Lúcio Vilela Carneiro Girão Graduated in Animal Science / UFLA (2003-2007), MSc in Animal Science FMVZ / UNESP (2008-2010) and PhD (2010-2013) FMVZ / UNESP. She participated in the Short-Term Scholar Interchange Program at the Livestock Behavior Research-USDA unit, attached to the Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University, IN. Professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). He has experience in the area of ​​nutrition and animal feeding, working mainly on the following topics: nutritional requirement of pigs, food evaluation, pre-slaughter management, meat quality and animal welfare of pigs.
