Biography

Leonilda Stanziola holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the School of Physical Education of Muzambinho (1980), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1988) and a PhD in Physiology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (1999 ). Currently holds the position of Full Professor of the Biomedical Sciences Institute of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Has experience in the field of Physiology, with emphasis in Cardiovascular Physiology, acting mainly in the study of the metabolism of vasoactive peptides.
