Biography
Adjunct Professor III at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Graduation in Dentistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002). Master's and Doctorate in Immunology at the same university (2005 and 2009 respectively). Doctorate sandwich at the Forsyth Institute in Boston, MA, in the period from 2008 to 2009 one completed the Immunology course at Harvard University, Boston, MA at the same time. He has experience in Immunology, working mainly in the following subjects: bone resorption, intracellular signaling and tumor biomarkers. The activities developed in the laboratory aims to study the factors of splicing and the events of epithelial-mesenchymal transition during in vitro cancerization. In addition, in partnership as Hospital do Câncer, we are looking for a series of serum biomarkers that can be used as markers of diagnosis and response to treatment with a focus on lung, breast and leukemia cancers. Finally, the laboratory also investigates the participation of reactive oxygen species in intracellular signaling that is related to osteoclastogenesis.
