Biography
Moilton Ribeiro Franco Junior holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia. Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1989) in the area of Particular Systems (Leito de Jorro) and PhD from the State University of Campinas (1998) in Chemical Processes. Has experience in the area of Exact and Environmental Sciences with emphasis on liquid, gaseous, biphasic and three-phase systems. It works mainly in the following experimental subjects: estimation of thermodynamic properties of biofuels, phase equilibrium in biofuels, process analysis, solubility of a compound in solvents and in mixtures, adsorption of compounds in liquid systems contaminated with oils, bio-oil, metals , organic in general and macromolecules. Analysis and modeling to obtain properties of compounds for the design of equipment for the treatment and analysis of wastewater as well as the proposal of specific treatments.
