Biography
Márcia Cristina Cury holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1990), a Master's degree in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995) and a PhD in Parasitology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1999). He is currently Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology, mainly with Helminths and Protozoa of medical and veterinary medical importance, with emphasis on the following subjects: Angiostrongylus vasorum (dogs), Neospora caninum (cattle and dogs), Toxocara sp. and Toxocariasis (animals and humans), Giardia spp. (in man and in domestic animals) Trichomonas vaginalis / Tritrichomonas fetus (Domestic bovine and feline) and Hemoparasites in domestic and wild animals.
Research Interest
