Biography
Neide Maria da Silva holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1984), a Master's Degree in Immunology and Parasitology Applied by the Federal University of Uberlândia (1997) and a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002). He was a Récem-doctor / FAPEMIG Fellow at the Federal University of Uberlândia from 2002 to 2005 and a PRODOC / CAPES Fellow at the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto / USP from 2005 to 2006 and is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Professor accredited and guiding by the Postgraduate Program in Applied Immunology and Parasitology and Applied Cellular and Structural Biology Program (UFU). He has experience in Immunology and immunopathology of infectious diseases, acting on the following topics: Toxoplasma gondii, Plasmodium, experimental infection
