Biography
Rubens Gedraite holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the FEI University Center (1981), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1999) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2005). He is currently associate professor level I at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He worked as a senior engineer at Invensys Systems Brasil Ltda and as Assistant Professor at the Mauá Institute of Technology and Assistant Professor Level IV at Oswaldo Cruz Colleges. He has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Industrial Process Automation, working mainly on the following topics: automatic control, digital control systems, mathematical modeling and computational simulation, industrial instrumentation and heat transfer.
