Biography
Professor of Immunology at the Federal University of Uberlândia since 2008, holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2001), a master's degree (2003) and a doctorate (2007) in Animal Pathology from the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences of the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and Postdoctoral degree from the Medical School of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (2008), in Cellular Immunology.
Research Interest
The objective of this study is to study the Parasite-Host Relationship, using experimental and natural infections to determine the profile of the immune response elicited by protozoa of veterinary interest, such as Neospora caninum, Toxoplasma gondii, Leishmania sp. and Trypanosoma cruzi.
