Biography
Valeska Barcelos Guzman holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1999), an internship in France (1999), a Master's Degree in Immunology and Applied Parasitology from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2002) and a PhD in Micro-Immunology Department of Immunogenetics, Escola Paulista de Medicina, UNIFESP (2007), where he carried out projects in the area of ​​polymorphisms and gene expression of immunoregulatory molecules. Has experience in Immunology, Immunogenetics, molecular biology and Parasitology. In 2008, he began his postdoctoral program in Genetics and Biochemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), with the study of biomarkers for diagnosis and participation in the discovery of new biological targets through the molecular engineering of antibodies to detect parasitic and infectious diseases. She is currently an assistant professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU)
