Biography
Vivian Consuelo Reolon Schmidt holds a BS in Food Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (2003), a master's degree in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2006) and a PhD in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2012). She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia, on the extension campus of Patos de Minas. He has done technical consulting in quality at Costão do Santinho Resort, Ingleses Frozen Foods, Estação 261 Restaurant and Union Bakery. He has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis in Food Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: cassava starch , chemical modifications of starch, biodegradable materials and food quality and microbiology.
