Biography
Yara Cristina de Paiva Maia holds a degree in Nutrition from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2000) and a Master's and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2011). He completed postdoctoral studies at the Department of Immunology and Medical Microbiology at the University of California - Davis. She is currently an Adjunct Professor and Researcher at the Federal University of Uberlândia, with participation and development of research projects applied to human and infectious diseases, with emphasis on molecular biology and nutrition. It acts mainly in the following areas: molecular oncology, phage display in the mapping of ligand peptides to several targets; breast cancer.
