Biography
Dan Janki is a senior vice president, GE Treasurer and leads GE Global Operations, the company’s global multi-functional shared services operation. Appointed to the Global Operations role in 2017, Dan oversees the operating processes of GE’s enabling functions, working with every GE business to make the company simpler, faster, and more customer-focused. Dan has been the GE Treasurer since 2014. From 2012 to 2014 Dan was CEO of GE Energy Management, GE’s electrical solutions business. Before that, Dan was CFO for GE Energy, a previous GE business that managed all operations in power generation, oil and gas production, and water treatment. Dan began his career with GE in 1992 as a member of the Financial Management Program (FMP) and rose through a succession of roles to become chief financial officer for GE Equity, a division of GE Capital. He then joined the GE Corporate team and played a key role in planning and executing the Genworth Financial IPO in 2003. Later Dan served as chief financial officer for GE Consumer Finance, Americas, and in 2006 he became GE’s vice president of Corporate Investor Communications. Dan graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Finance and Accounting.
