Member of the Local Organizing Committee for the 71st IFA Congress (Rio de Janeiro, August 2017). Professor invited in different post-graduation courses in Brazil. Professor invited for the LL.M in International Tax at the University of Zurich. Member of the Practice Council of the NYU School of Law International Tax Program (ITP). Chair of the Brazilian Branch of STEP - Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Contributor to Kluwer International Tax Blog and BNA Transfer Pricing Forum. Former Head of Tax Area at TozziniFreire Advogados (2000-2017). Former member of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA - 2010-2017). Author of several articles about Brazilian tax law and speaker in several conferences and seminars in Brazil and abroad, including 2007 IFA Congress in Kyoto (Seminar B: International Taxation of Emission Allowances); 2009 IFA Congress in Vancouver (Plenary Section 2: Foreign Exchange Issues in International Taxation); 2012 IFA Congress in Boston (Chair of the Seminar: Cross-Border Developments in Latin America); 2013 IFA Congress in Copenhagen (Seminar H: Recent Developments in International Taxation).
