Biography
Joined Petrobras through a competitive entry examination and spent ten years (2003–2012) in the Strategic Technology Management, Corporate Sustainability and Corporate Finance areas, with previous professional experience that includes the position of Accounts Receivable Coordinator at IBM and Consultant at Andersen Consulting and Accenture on projects several companies. At the FGV/EBAPE, he is the Academic Coordinator of the Bachelor’s in Financial Management and the Finance and Accounting member of its Undergraduate Faculty Structuring Centre; as a Professor, he teaches the following BBA courses: Budget Administration and Controllership; Financial Statements Analysis; Introduction to Accounting; and Cost Management; as an FGV/Management Professor for MBAs in Corporate Finance, Project Management, Strategic IT Management, Industrial Management and Business Management, he also teaches the following courses Financial Mathematics, Project and Company Analysis I, Company and Project Analysis II, Economic Feasibility Analysis for Projects, Investment Project Analysis, Project Cost Management, Corporate Governance, Economic and Financial Management and Accounts Management, as well as Project and Company Evaluation for the Master’s in Finance. He also prepares and reviews supplementary activities, questions and content at FGV/Management. At the COPPEAD Business School, Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ), he has lectured in Cost Management since 2011 and Evaluation since 2015, and has been a Director of the COPPEAD Alumni Association since 2015. In the Graduate Studies Program offered by the Economics Institute, Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ), he has lectured on Qualitative Methods and the International Financial System since 2013. At the IBMEC Business School, he lectured on Mergers and Acquisitions for the MBA in Finance Program in 2013; at the undergraduate level, he lectured on Financial Accounting, Evaluation, and Statistics I (BSc in Economics); Micro-Economic Analysis I and Financial Accounting (BBA); Financial Statement Analysis (BSc in Accountancy), and Accounting and Finance (BA in International Relations) (2012–2013). He has conducted preparatory financial certification (CNPI, CEA and CFP) courses at XP Investimentos since 2012, in addition to serving as a business consultant for corporations such as L´Oréal since 2011; he was an in-company professor at the BTG Pactual bank (2013), lecturing on Evaluation. Coordinator, VI Brazilian Administration and Accounting Congress – AdCont 2015 and Executive Coordinator, I Biennial Meeting of BBA Alumni (EBAA 2016). He has authored papers and co-authored books, in addition to serving as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Latin American Business Review.
