Biography
He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1970), a specialization in Public Health for Physicians from the University of São Paulo (1973), a specialization in Dermatology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1972) and a PhD in Clinical Medicine by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1999). He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has experience in Medicine, with emphasis on Epidemiology. Acting mainly on the following themes: leprosy, epidemiology, indicators.
