Bernardo Malpica Hernández

Biography

Mr. Bernardo Malpica Hernández has been a Partner of Praemia, S.C. since 2004. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Hernández headed merger and acquisition activities in Mexico at ING Bank. From 2000 to 2001, he served as a Financial Adviser/Director of Finances at Artikos, an e-commerce joint venture between Banamex and Commerce One. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Hernández served as an Investment Banker at Operadora de Bolsa Serfin, a securities brokerage, where he was responsible for equity offerings. He served as Director of Investment bank Serfin Stock market, where he was responsible by the public supplies for shares. Mr. Hernández has been a Director of Hypermarcas SA since January 2, 2008. He has been an Independent Director of Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento, SAB de CV since 2009. He served as an Independent Director of Hilasal Mexicana SAB de CV. He is licensed in Administration of Companies by the Latin American University. Mr. Hernández received a B.A. in business administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 1990 and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1993.
